hi, I am relatively newly diagnosed and my sugars are constantly in the 20s during the day and around 13. to 15 fasting and have been for months. i am on gliclazide max dose, about to move to insulin next week.
question is (prob stupid question) if my sugars drop to under 10 would I feel a bit ropey, i know this is no were near hypo levels, but just wondering if that is why I feel a bit off it today or is it something else. just feel a bit trembly inside and a bit brain foggy

The answer to your question, will i feel a bit ropey if my numbers drop under ten, is yes. It is known as a false hypo, your body has got used to higher numbers and doesn’t react well when they start dropping. As long as it is not an actual hypo, resist the urge to eat as you do not actually need to. It will settle as your body adjusts to the new lower levels.
