I’ve had type 2 diabetes for years now with blood sugar about 8.0 ive been on that new injection reta for a month now blood sugar today 5.4 and stopped all the metformin I was on… this new feta is the way to go even though you can’t legally buy it or get it prescribed, I think the big pharma will be trying to put their blockers on it ever being available… what do you think? Please let me know I am 59 years old male from UK.

Hi @thailand teacher

You say you are on the medication Reta, can you clarify what that is, do you mean retatrutide? I’ve done a bit of googling and as you say it’s not available yet & still in clinical trials in the UK & USA. How is it that you have been on it for a month? Are you on the clinical trial? It sounds promising as a weight loss drug but can’t find anything linking it to being a medication for T2

My surgery was asking for volunteers for the Retatrutide trial til recently. I’m happy with the results I’m getting from Tirzapetide (Mounjaro) so didn’t volunteer. They have said they don’t need anymore volunteers now.
