Medtronic 7 day infusion sets

I am somewhat concerned about these 7 day sets. I am irritated by my 3 day cannula on day 3, how would I cope with a 7 day one. It isn't the adhesive, it's the swelling from the insulin.

Have you tried the Extended infusion set? I’ve been using them now for about a year and have zero trouble. No inflammation at all. No absorption issues either. For me, these 7 day infusion sets are entirely different from the 3 day. They are amazing. Of course, everyone is different. I have sensitive skin and they are awesome.

You should also find that using them is less invasive with cannula sites being less affected due to the fewer set changes.
