Hi everyone,
Just received my latest HBA1C results after blood tests yesterday, they're now up to 64 from 59 three months ago. I'm currently taking one 10mg Dapagliflozin per day only, and my diet unsurprisingly has not been good due to my ongoing awful mental health issues.
I've also now been referred back to gynaecology for unexplained bleeding in menopause (sorry for TMI) so that's another concern. GP also said my blood pressure is high but probably caused by stress and the stomach pain I've been experiencing.
I've also been having terrible problems with recurring infected abscesses in groin since being on the Dapagliflozin, GP actually advised yesterday that I speak to DN about stopping that medication and trying to switch to something else but I don't know what else I can try at this point. I really don't want to take anything that causes potential hypo's as my eating is very erratic with my mental health issues and I'd be terrified all the time. I know I need to get my diet sorted, my motivation and mood are so low it feels nigh on impossible.
Maggie
