What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Blood sugars this morning were 5.8

Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen, this morning I will be unsupervised, Mrs J will be socialising while eye shall be doing things that will cause Mrs J consternation when Mrs J finds out, shame.

Time to make koffy and other stuff.

Smile at a stranger, they’ll think you have wind.

Blood sugars this morning were 7.0

Good nearly afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen.
Here in Tilehurst Towers instructions have been issued by Mrs J, fortunately eye wasn’t listening .

Now I might just go and hide in shed / workshop.

5.9 this morning
Have tried messaging @Annb as I was concerned that she hasn't posted since Tuesday. I do hope she is ok. I did wonder if her libre has failed

This made me wonder if we could change the title of this thread to - 'more chat with or without fasting blood sugar.
My Libre did fail - but not the BG one - my Linux software is also called Libre Office. Actually it's the whole PC that has failed - something with the operating system. Neil has fixed it to a degree but only bits work. He tried to upgrade it and the PC simply refuses to acknowledge it so now we have to wait until some gadget comes through the post which will make my PC acknowlege his laptop. No idea how that works. Meantime my internet access is very limited since this old laptop is not supported on most websites these days. It's an irritant, but unless something goes wrong with something I need to know about, it should be OK meantime. At least I have found a way to get aback to my pals on diabetes forums.

I should say - BG at 03.00 today was 5.3.

Welcome back! It is frightening how dependent we have become on technology.

(BG this morning was 5.5.)

I am so pleased that you are ok @Annb.
It is really good to hear from you.
when tech does not work properly it causes so many problems.
I do hope the gadget arrives quickly and everything starts working much better.
Thank goodness Neil is there to sort things out.

5.1 at 03.45 today.

Had an early breakfast - just because I felt the need. Usually the programme is: up, semaglutamide with small amount of water; 35 minutes later, painkillers with a glass of water; cup of tea and a digestive biscuit (settles stomach); shower; breakfast. Not today though. Leg day today so have to be ready fairly early. Almost ready - just have to get socks and shoes on - not so easy because I can't either lift my feet, or reach down to them. Actually, I think it is slightly easier than it was - must be losing some weight on my stomach.

BG is fairly stable under the influence of the semaglutamide but, happily, I've lost another 0.8 kg this week.

Really well done @Annb. Brilliant and and weight loss.
Hope leg day goes well.

5.1 at 05.00 today - slept much longer than usual.

Felt pretty grotty most of yesterday - probably too tired after going to the clinic. I think I should have had a blood test while there, but their computer system wasn't working either, so the nurse had no idea what was needed so that didn't happen. A bit better today, but still not right. I don't know if there is actually something wrong or if it just the result of all the pills I'm on at the moment.

Really good fbs @Annb but I do hope you feel a lot better tomorrow.

5.3 at 04.30 today.

Missed my semaglutamide tablet this morning because my stomach was very sore during the night so I had to take something to settle it (pink stuff in a bottle). Then I couldn't put off taking painkillers when I got up so I just didn't take the semaG. I'll get back onto it tomorrow.
