I enjoy Mario Kart on the Wii too :) Have only just discovered the fun of online races too, addictive :D

Aside from that, I'm slowly getting the hang of Worms: Space Oddity (Wii), and am an obsessive Civilization player (IV and V, but prefer IV overall).

I'm a big social gamer so play anything that is online. Portal 2 is a brilliant puzzle game and Call Of Duty for when I want to shoot something are my current time-wasters.

Portal is indeed brilliant. Quite difficult for me though!

I am playing Fire Emblem and Donkey Kong Country Returns on 3DS - both brilliant and well worth buying :D

Mario Kart is awesome! If you like that, try out Sonic All Stars Racing - it's amaaaazing.

Civ is amazing fun too, especially when you set up a LAN match with your friends.. hours of fun

I get bored at work, so I play dragon story and bakery story on my android phone.

On the wii I love Mario Karts and I'm going to see if I can get on line soon too. Also using the Wii fit plus more now as I need the exercise. Love the wii lego games too.

Got Temple Run Oz on my iPhone, but I'm a playstation girl. Assassins Creed, Uncharted, Oblivion, Skyrim, Darksiders, Dragon Age, anything with Final Fantasy in the title. - and to think it all started with an N64, Goldeneye and a freezing cold February in Aberdeen! :)

Hornplayer, can my boyfriend and I share you?

I love Final Fantasy too; it was the series that made me teach myself flute piano and guitar at 16. Do you ever play video game music? I want 'To Zanarkand' played by a string quartet as I walk up the aisle.

The storylines inspired me to write. The concept art was my inspiration and analysed in my coursework for GCSE, BTEC and still using Final Fantasy references for my degree. I spent half my personal statement applying to University talking about how Final Fantasy influenced my career choices and it got me 5 offers for completely different degrees.

The house has seen a PS1, PS2 slim, PS2 fat, 2 PS3 fats, GB Color, 2 GBASPs, 1 DS classic, 2 DS Lites a 3DS and a Wii.

I started playing my photographer's MegaDrive (original Sonic the Hedgehog) in a deal to make me sit still as a small child, then played my cousin's DreamCast.

Got my Dad all 3 Uncharted games so going to have a go when the disc drive gets repaired as he has finished them.

I adore platformers and role playing games with some puzzle/fighting elements. The Original Spyro and Crash Bandicoot games being my favourites besides FF. Vib Ribbon, PaRappa the Rapper, Kula World, Tomba, Abe's Exoddus, Ratchet and Clank, Kingdom Hearts (especially 358/2 Days and 2) Dark Cloud and Klonoa are awesome.

I also love Pokemon but my Wifi doesn't connect to Nintendo WFC and I never have anyone to battle...

I like bringing games to my boyfriend's house for us to play together or if it's one player, we take turns, one of us will watch or offer tips (or look up a walkthrough online lol)

I'm a little unsure of the casual gamer/mobile gamer market thing going on at the moment. I like some of the quirky games being made by independent developers making best use of the touch screen etc But I dislike how much games become cliche and 'dumbed down' for the casual market. I like depth. 1112 deems like a genuinely intelligent iOS title though. Obviously if it's a puzzler, that's different. On my tablet and phone I have been playing Zoo Keeper which is a bit like Bejeweled but a but a bit more thought involved and the art direction is great. On my DS I am playing Pokemon Black and Red (through a game boy color emulator) as well as My Japanese Coach, which is more a learning program than a game.

I feel like certain games do better as ones you can play at the bus stop on your phone/DS and some deserve the whole home console 'experience'. I really wish Crisis Core, Dissidia and 358 Days came out on PS3. Apparently 358 will be included in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMix but it will only be the pre rendered cutscenes from the game.

Little Wolf, not got much time so more later...... - what's your degree in? You seem really interested in the art side? - I'm an artist, - its why I don't work In London anymore! - I came home for a break, took up painting, started exhibiting and selling and decided not to go back to playing full time.

We really do seem to have a lot in common, - watch out for the whole boyfriend/ game thing though, I lost one coz he couldn't take it that I'd finished Zelda while he was stuck on the second boss! - that, and I kept smacking him in capture the flag and battle on Goldeneye and Quake. Bad loser! ;)

Hey x

Lol, lucky for him he's more into shooters so he can win at those if I destroy him on CTR.

Have you shared any of your work on the forum? My specialism is drawing animals. I love sculpting, painting, costume making, filmmaking, darkroom and digital photography, felting, printmaking... I'm not just arty- I like academic subjects too, particularly the sciences. I adore chemistry. There is mathematical principle behind beauty in nature. I don't really like the Left and Right brain principles people go by. It seems to imply that academic students cannot visualise and artistic students are unintelligent slackers. At least those are the stereotypes I have ha thrown at me in the past :/

My degree is in Creative and Professional writing. I was doing combined honors with Illustration, but I learned absolutely nothing a year in and it felt like a waste of time. The same went for the computer programming course I started when I was teaching myself at a faster pace. I just hate the idea of doing coursework when I could be getting paid work in a far less stressful environment. I've always loved learning, but never liked school. I am a total bookworm, documentary addict and a regular at all the museums though.

Yup we seem to have a lot in common :D I'm in Clapham if you're ever local (gives location to awesome woman -> is terrified of awesome women) And now I sound creepy >_>

Ha ha Little Wolf! My awesomeness is really not at all awesome you know, but it is funny!

Your degree sounds great!! I'd love to know more! I love creative writing! I used to hide in my room writing when my brothers were being brats. I've never finished a story though. Maybe I will one day. Do you illustrate your own work? I'd love to see some!!!!! Maybe I'll start an artists thread where we can all share our work? At some point I'll start a musicians thread too, where we can all compare the size of our egos! :p - gotta work out how to share photos here first. - Maybe on the computer, not on my phone?

I loved the practical subjects in school. Didn't take art coz I couldn't do that and music and the A level teacher told me I'd never make a fine artist. - Wasn't he surprised when he turned up to an exhibition and saw mine hanging when his hadn't made the cut! ( didn't like him, - how can a man paint bottles for fifteen years and be normal?? )

It is annoying when people assume that arty and academic don't go together! - music is maths! Art without structure, - mathematical structure, is just a mess! Yes, you need that certain something on top, but the foundations must be strong! We're not unacademic, we're academicPLUS!

I dropped biol and chem to make room for music, but I loved physics. - I was really bad at it!!! I'm good at maths, but, some days I am completely illogical. It just wasn't something I was ever going to get! English and History were my favourite subjects. If I hadn't got into the music college of my choice, I would have gone to Cambridge to do English. (School weren't that impressed with me putting it that way round, but they were supportive.)

I used to spend a fair bit of time in Clapham. There used to be a little rock studio near the common and some of my friends still live there. I lived in Bethnal Green, - where all the gangsters grannies lived, safest place in London! And walking distance from the West End. Very useful at 4am when you can't get a cab! I'm down on the Gower coast now, not exactly on the tube map! - We Welsh girls, we all come home eventually! :)
