Hi all, did anyone catch the report on Sky News this morning regarding the rise in Type 2 diagnosis?
A cardiologist (a specialist) stated that many people can reverse their Type 2 through reducing carbohydrates and avoiding sugar (bravo that man!!)
Then the lovable Eamonn Holmes was doing his usual banal chit chat with a GP, the conclusion he drew from his chat with the GP was 'so, people may be ok for 3,5 or 10 years but then they'll suffer from the complications!' To which the GP agreed accordingly...YES...if you follow the NHS guidelines....the annoying thing was that just a few minutes earlier a SPECIALIST said quite the opposite, it really is time for the NHS to 'get with the programme' and offer sensible advice and avoid scaremongering and negativity.
