How long?

I have been type 1 for 25 years and just out of pure curiousity wonder, how long have other members been diabetic? Type 1 or 2, lada, etc.

Im 30, was mis-diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 21, at 22 was mis-diagnosed with type 2, 3 days later i was properly diagnosed as type 1, so i say 9 years, but officially(medical records) 8 years
