shop my daughters bs soar just before her period...a couple of days into it and she gets a massive hypo usually at night....so we.er up trying to get it up and stay up....shes on novamix twice a day so when it happens we just have to keep up the carbs...usually coke.......sugary coke xx

ok well the pill has moved on and developed but..my gp and my daughters diabetic team said the implant for her when old enough......she has periids every 3 weeks so hopefully these would dissappear..and its ok not to have periods....i had migraines with the pill and there is a risk of heart...

wow brilliant for getting your hba1c down........so what you taking novamix twice a day??????. you need to speak to someone about how you feel...do you get free counselling at school or they can give you info whete to get it....don.t know about the lantus but i do know young people need support...

i think some take a sports drink to sip whilst training.....but it gets complicated with bs going high then low later.some take less insulin before they train......ask the guys who work up thete they may give help....otherwise some one will be along that are fitter than me xxxx

just found out you need to be self sufficient and you can.t be as you need insuln.....supplies..storage..but still doesn.t answer why not in non war zone areas x
