Im not actually diabetic, just used it a few times this week to check my sugar levels. Its only my mum that uses it

Hi Sue She has never been tested, my mum says that she doesnt think the needle has been changed. Surely it must have gone blunt by now

Thank u very much Sue for all your help, i am going to hold off from going to the doctors for a hospital test as im sure something would have changed on these 3 if there was a concern. And just keep an eye on my blood every 6 months or so Does that sound ok?

Ok the scores are in,lol I tested 1 hours after my evening meal last night also. The result was 4.7 This mornings fasting test was 4.2 So im guessing i dont need to test anymore for a good few months now as one of these would have been higher if i had Diabetes. I only worried cos i read here...

I know it seems like i want to be Diabetic and i dont mean to be a pain, but i am just a worry wort cos of my familys history. I get up at 6am so will do a test before i eat breakfast or have a brew. Is there anything i need to do to get a clearer reading? exercise etc?

Thanx Sue for your info, one more thing if u dont mind My brother said that if i had toast it wouldnt have changed the score as it is a slow release carb or something?? and suggested i test again in the morning before i eat does that make sense to anyone?
