Have read alot of them and it all makes sense.

Took a blood testing machine back to Boots to as it was not working. The assistant at the prescription counter, who is diabetic, told me diabetes is based on eating carbs, not cutting them out/down. I was shocked as i have always thought carbs were the diabetic's enemy, and i should cut right...

8.6 fasting. I must be doing something right! Decided Atkins is the way forward for me and 2 days in thats the lowest yet.

Went to bed 9.5, fbg this morning 9.1

I suppose i could be classed as obese. I lost 5 st. on Atkins a few years back so know it will work for me. I did put it all back on though:arghh:

9.9 this morning. and have put on 5lbs. Dont understand as i have cut 90% carbs. Maybe its the constipation.

Thamks for a brilliant reply @debrasue . As for tips, i have none apart from laughing, husband and i have laughed for 50 years and i believe it keeps you young. Obviously i am panicking, as i said before. Want it all under control yesterday!

Thank you @debrasue. I am panicking abit, feeling like if i dont do everything i can right now, i will drop dead! I have never been patient. I did not have a clue i was diabetic until my clever Dr. picked up on the oral thrush and ordered me a blood test for everything. All result were fine...
