Thanks to LCHF, I've lost 14 kilos since December 2018! That's 2 stone 2 lbs in old money. Pretty chuffed with that; just hoping the blood test results will show similar reductions.... will find out next week! :)

I wore braces on both arms and they helped a lot! Buy them and use them but don't susbstitute them for a trip to the doctors.

T2s: What was your fasting BG this morning, and what did you eat yesterday?

Actually, I think now that it might have been coffee with sweeteners. I'll cut that out for a bit, see what happens.

T2s: What was your fasting BG this morning, and what did you eat yesterday?

I suppose it could be but there is no way of knowing now. I'm back to normal (for me) anyway, which is a much more comfortable place to be. I do rather tend to get worked up by anomalies!!

Please bear in mind that I am not a health professional and cannot therefore say with any certainly what causes your pain - however - I had those exact symptoms, arm pain (especially at night) and tingling index finger, middle finger and thumb. With me it was carpel tunnel syndrome caused by a...

This is what I thought. Researched based evidence is contradictory though. I'll cut it out and see what happens. Thanks for your input x

Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

Mine shot down to the 4s and occasional 3.5 almost immediately but now they're creeping up into the 5s (at 10 on diagnosis in November 2018) I've been doing LCHF since January. We're all different though and everyone's path to success will take different turns. I find it useful to keep a...

    Sweeteners

Having discovered the delights of coffee with double cream, I should now like some recommendations re sweeteners. What does everyone use and does my sweetener of choice (Truvia) raise blood sugar? My levels seem to have crept up a bit and looking back on my food diary, this seems to coincide...
