Thanks its a tough one as although I hypo in early hours I then start to rise around 6ish due to DP, so its very hard to get correct dose as if I increase it I hypo, and if I dont I get a huge rise , worse when I get out of bed, it just keeps rising till I have novorapid and breakfast...

Still battling on have increased by a unit now. Fingers crossed it sorts t self soon, as very tiring with the highs.

I switched to Tresiba 4 days ago, nightmare running high levels, have to take loads of NovoRapid to lower, then go hypo, think ill go back to Levemir, I was told by consultant this would be great insulin, but you have to sort doses, I have had on going problems with low blood sugars, and ketones...

Hi just wondering if anyone else had this problem? Around 4 to 5 hrs after eating and taking novorapid blood sugars climb again after being in normal range. This happens mainly after evening meal at 6pm, so end up higher before bed. This has started in last few weeks.
