Does anyone find that this heat causes sugar levels to rise mine were thru the roof this morning when I woke up

Hi Freema I have been on metformin just over 2 years they changed me to the slow release glucophage to make sugars lowers so see wat happens

Hi I have started on glucophage today finally been brave enough to change from the other metformin although the dose of these is 2000 mg a day but I am only going to start on 1000mg a day and see how it goes thanx everyone for your help

I did 3 readings teatime and each were different

Does anyone find that if their sugars go low may not quite be hypo it makes you feel shaky for rest of day please

She just said to bring hba1c lower it was 9.9 last time

That sounds good Daibell also I take 18 units at night of lantus I am worried may cause hypo through night but dn said to stay on same dosage said should be fine

1000 mg have to take one morning and one night my metformin is is 500 mg two a day

Hi I am being taken off metformin and put on Glucophage can any one please tell me if they had any side effects with these I hate changing to some thing new any help would be appreciated

Ok maybe I try one 3 times a day I usually take 2 with breakfast I just hate changes thank you for ur help it's appreciated

Did u ever have probe when u started on 2 a day chalup I have always been ok on that

Thank you britishpub I did consider trying one in the evening but I am still wary of that as well

Hi hoping for advice please usually I take 2 met forming a day but now they have said 4 a day my dn has said it may cause stomach problems so am scared to increase it is anyone else on 4 a day and if so do u get side effects
