so 2 weeks ago i was put on forxiga well it was my choice as i cannot be forced to take it, i take metformin, victoza and levier insulin as well so i guess i am at risk here but none of my medical team have said anything about this.

GrannyLynne although i agree that we should take control of our own health i have to disagree and tell you that we do pay for our medical services and it is not free, it may be free at the point of requirement but we have been paying for our health system since the day we began employment.

I think it will be a case of educating myself further.

Why do these always take place during the working week, i have been offered a place but i cannot due to work commitments, they could do an evening one say once a year to allow those of us who cannot get time off to learn more.

i am 3 weeks in and now on the 1.2 amount, nausea is manageable and i really do not feel like eating at all but seriously it is not that bad, my BG levels have basically halved already, i was on insulin before and could not get below double figures now i am around the 7 mark. Good luck.

a pretty decent diet Daibell and lots of excercise, Bev i was under the impression that victoza should not be given with gliclazide but i could be wrong.

after 2 years of being on insulin and feeling like ****, i am back on victoza, hope it works this time.

I have to attend an attendance monitoring interview at my place of employment due to 2 periods of illness with diabetes in last 6 months, my union rep will be present but just for my own knowledge is it truly classed as disability, i am type 2 with 3 injections of insulin daily and 4 metformin...

Hello, anyone have or know of an app for storing diabetes results please on a computer tablet, i have looked but could not find anything, with the explosion of computer tablets i would have thought it would have been done by now.

I suppose they must have won some bid for providing equipment as my doctors will only provide prescriptions for this unit Nexus, is this counrtywide, quite peeved as i have just got the hang of Freestyle software.

I have been prescribed this for neuropathy in feet but i am very reluctant to go down this road with it being a anti depressant, i really do worry that it could be a slippery slope.

my med exemption was sorted by my GP and i pay for no medication diabetes related or not, has to be updated every 5 years.

why do you have to pay for them at all, i have a medical exemption card so i get all medical needs through prescription for free or are you from overseas.
