    Well I got my HB1ac results and they have confirmed I am Pre-diabetic. I Went from 51 to 49 in 2 weeks and I need another re-test in 2 weeks. I also got my cholesterol down from 5.9 back to 5.2.     He sounds like a Delight! I find it hard to believe if you've been through a menopause at 37 (like me) you'd go through it again at 48/49?? Bizarre and I hope he is wrong for both our sakes lol.

    I am in total denial!!! Have my blood test in 30 mins and have convinced myself I've dropped 3 or more points in 2 weeks... my goodness I'll be in for a shock tomorrow when I get the results....

    When you had your 1st test at 56, did you do or eat differently in the 2 weeks leading up to the 2nd test? I wonder how it was higher if you did change eating habits..?

    They are re-testing it as I have had no symptoms and only found out by accident really. He said as I'm not experiencing symptoms I need a re-test to confirm it, makes sense I suppose? I will update this on Friday after I get my result, but your right, I'm not expecting change.

    Thank you - yes I have a meter and test constantly!My finger is like a pin cushion!! Its currently 4.2 but I've not eaten since breakfast (busy day). 2 hours after tea last night it was 8.2, I walk the dog and 20 minutes later it was 6.2?
