    What have you eaten today?

My usual breakfast and afternoon coffee. Treated by self with Swedish vealburger called Wallenbergare, the difference if you check any available recipe is to exclude the breadcrumbs, also made some lchf lime cheese cake and enjoyed a small slice.

    Omega 3 supplements

No absolute recommendation but have a look here and see if you can find some alternative. http://results.chemistdirect.co.uk/search?w=omega+3 Usually take five capsules high strength to get enough and using butter from grass fed cows as well as eating meat from grass fed animals is also good.

Why when newbies arrive with very high BS 20+ and go onto a Very Low Carb Diet

Fascinating tread. Having escaped diabetes type 2, after all signs of metabolic syndrome by reading and learning about LCHF - the original Scandinavian LCHF no other version. Initially I was chasing substitutes but realised it would be easier to simplify it and avoid treats, but i'm not...

    Bulletproof coffee -Daily Mail article

Fully agree on the last part. Some prefer unsalted other believe the salt bring out the flavours better. Important also have good quality coconut oil, opt for virgin and if you can't stand the taste try MCT oil. Cheaper once like KTC I use for oil pulling or topical but never in my BPC.

    How late do you eat

Suggest you forget about cals and try lowering carbs. My suggestion with 20-25 grams per day is low carb, my own way of eating is very low carb, less then 10 grams per day. www.dietdoctor.com/lchf

    Alternatives to the usual

Not keen on cooked (or over cooked) vegs but nicely steamed then butter fried works every time, none steamed butter fried white cabbage is great. A great alternative when it's warmer is home made coleslaw.

    How late do you eat

Rather then to much fat, I would think lowering the carbs would help much more to help you stall. Try a month with 20-25 grams of carbs per day, to not be hungry you might need to up the fats.

    Bulletproof coffee -Daily Mail article

Love my freshly made coffee (using a cafeteria) with virgin coconut oil (same as nomistheman) and Kerrygold, actually like the slightly salted, mixing it well. Replacement for milk and Sweet cravings

Why not use double cream and water it. Stay away from soy/soya as they contain phytates blocking the uptake of minerals and also rich in omega 6 and have other effects that can be adverse.

One year on from more fat

Note that diary fat can come with higher omega 3 if the cows been grass fed and sorry to say that's not always the case, even in UK. Because of this my favourite butter is Keerygold and my cream is mostly from unpasteurised Jersey cream and hardly using any other diaries beside these and cheese...

Does eating more fat increase weight loss?

I use this also for oil pulling, since you don't swallow, just spit it out after use. Most of the brands in supermarkets taste rather ****** but Lucy Bee and Tiana is really good.

Does eating more fat increase weight loss?

You might consider lowering your carbs further. Knowing I'm a very low low carber, but it might do to get down to 20/30 grams of carb per day and upping the fat intake, whether diary (fullfat), butter, coconut oil, fatty meat cuts, avocado, nuts or nut oils is a matter of choice. Note that...
