How much weight have YOU lost?

Had all the signs of my way into T2 but was never diagnosed, now lowered my BP, weight and waist line. I'm still rather carb sensitive and have to be careful, don't see LCHF as a diet but something that will be for life. At one point I might be able to raise my carbs, but never going back to...

    Eggs and type 2 diabetes

In addition I hope you you're updated on omega 6 and that they also cause inflammation as of today most people actually have a true imbalance between omega 6 and omega 3 intake, so keep away from vegetable oils like margarine, most spreads, sunflower oil (grain feed meat) etc. Probably this omega...

    LCHF mystery, help!

Maybe lower the carbs further and up the fat intake. Review how much protein you eat as well 1 gram per kilo ideal/target weight is good, a little more if you do resistances training. Eating to little might have the effect your metabolism is slowing down.

    What have you eaten today?

Today after having bullet coffee (butter and coconut oil mixed in coffee) for breakfast and afternoon coffee with coconut oil and Jersey cream, I'll spoil myself with a piece of tail end of beef filet nicely fried in butter and a splash of brandy. For the last couple of weeks I've also included...

    Where did I go wrong?

The key is adding good fat, butter not spreads (they usually contain vegetable oil which you should avoid), coconut oil, lard, tallow and a little olive oil. Fullf-at diaries like double cream etc.

Interested to know how your cholesterol has responded to higher fat consumption

Happy to hear you use butter. I would stay away from groundnut oil, because of high in omega 6. Have you tried ordering deodoraised coconut oil, online if well produced still a very good option.

Interested to know how your cholesterol has responded to higher fat consumption

Sorry for asking but why not use butter (preferably grass-fed like Kerrygold) and/or coconut oil, hopefully you're not believing the old and outdated scare of saturated fat. www.dietdoctor.com/lchf
