    Type 1 Travel

Traveling with sharps can differ from country to country, so make sure you do your homework before you travel. Rather safe than sorry. Some prescription drugs can land you in hot water if you are not aware of local laws. In Greece - you can not have paracetamol without a perscription when...

    Worried about high levels

Your dosage may need to be reviewed if you are frequently high. 4 units should not affect your pregnancy, but better to get assessed by your gp if you have doubts. 8-9 are not serious readings, but it would be better to aim below 7. It is sometimes difficult to stay within a preferred bracket...

    Bright yellow urine

This is dehydration. You need to increase your fluid intake. Dark coloured urine is a strong indicator of low fluids, so increase your intake with water as opposed to softdrinks. Keep your kidneys flushed to avoid problems.

    Serious hypo!

This morning, around 5:30am, while walking to work I had a very severe hypo. This was scary as I started hallucinating, I started to wonder where I was. I would see a familiar landmark and remember where I was going, then promptly lose my directions again. I noticed that I was weaving and...
