Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

8.4 this morning, dunno if I'll get up to much today, apparently I'll be carrying pieces of wood and sticks around all day, that's the trouble with loose stools they can get everywhere and it's embarrassing and messy.

Hmm something along those lines but with a sheep or some sort of pygmy cow included to assist with the short grass and red meat ....

Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

6.8 this morning, this got me excited so I decided to cut the grass, after I'd finished I checked again and I was 9.6, so exercise and food both raise my bg readings, hmmm I think I may have a really crafty plan...

Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

8.6 this morning and it's looking nice so the cry of "to the woods, to the woods" rung out so my waddle today will be a natural wilderness adventure with an eye open for Mr Attenborough cos you never know.

Type 2s: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning? (very low chat level)

7.8 for me this morning, looking a bit dreich out there so my morning waddle will be more of a stagger with my need for speed, hehehe I sound like a racing driver as opposed to a ground poking warrior which I see myself as as I wander forth into civilisation once again...by going to the shop for...

    Creon

Thanks for the response everyone, yeah if truth be told I'm still at the clutching at straws stage trying to make sense of the readings I get and the unpredictability of the ailment, pancreatitis and diabetes, type 3 or type 2, misdiagnosed or not????, I'm just confused but that doesn't seem to...

    Creon

I have got pancreatitis and was originally diagnosed by the gp as type 3 but this was changed by the diabetic consultant I saw at the hospital but since seeing the consultant I've lost all confidence in him, trying to educate myself and it's difficult for this old dog, it would appear, hehe.

    Creon

Thank you for that, it helps answer some of the mystery around my bg going up and down so dramatically even when consuming the same meals. It really is turning out to be really complicated.

    Creon

Hello everyone, simple enough question I'm struggling to answer but does anyone happen to know if Creon raises blood glucose levels?, thanks for any response.

    Monitoring App

Hello, yeah the Blood Sugar Log, it's ok I guess, easy enough to use with either text or graph display but it only shows what you enter with no hba1c estimation or reading type thing but it shows the last 3 months with the highs and lows highlighted, hope to help.

    Monitoring App

It's ok, I'm trying Blood Sugar Log and it looks ok but I have only just installed it. I've responded to my own query again, sorry peeps.

    Monitoring App

Maybe someone with a better grasp of technology could help me here as well, I use a kindle fire and mysugr won't work, any good likewise alternatives, if I'm encroaching or hijacking here please forgive me, lol, I'll go away soon enough.

    Legs Pain

Dr Martens shoes or boots are very very comfortable and a little bit left field but Epsom bath salts, I have found, are great for soaking away aches and pains of that nature and they contain magnesium which must contribute, hope to help.

    Type 1 And Smoking Cannibis

Don't really want to express an opinion due to the grief that usually goes along with any thing to do with drugs but even a simple "google" of the subject would get you surprising results with people even starting using cannabis after a diagnoses, there are reports of blood glucose levels...

    New To Type 2

Thanks for this, you nearly reawakened my slumbering appetite, since losing my sense of smell due to a motorbike accident years and years ago I've had to be reminded to eat, one of the contributory factors of my present condition.

    New To Type 2

Thanks for that, at least taking readings before and after make sense but not what I've been told to do, it's really confusing me because the doc emphasised about increasing my carb in take because I'm so thin, 8 1/2 stone just now, and seems to be concentrating on my weight gain before my...

    New To Type 2

Thanks for the feedback, maybe a little bit of history is in order to better understand the position I'm in, I was originally diagnosed with pancreatitis more than 10 years ago and was getting along ok, well apart from regular hospital visits for MRI, x-rays, stent fitting and removal and...
