    But HIIT workouts (like strength training) actually improve insulin sensitivity so you would need less insulin after your workout, up to 24-36h. You will also keep burning calories during that time without doing anything! So you get the benefits of a longer workout condensed in a shorter time :)...

    Yes I do that too! Well strength training 4 times a week, HIIT once a week. It helps with everything really: lowers stress, bumps up metabolism (the after-burn!! :) I have to drastically lower my insulin levels after a workout, and can see the effects on my reader up to 24h-36h later!

    Hello! I have two ideas: 1/ You are eating low carb but what kind of food are you eating (balanced, healthy?). Quality versus quantity :) 2/Are you exercising? As you lose weight, your body adapts to the situation (it thinks it is starving) and your metabolism slows down -> you burn less...
