    Urgent Access to Endocrinologist

If I did not have an abnormal OGTT, I'd be rather calm. But having a real data point that high will not calm me down. I meet an endo today at 3pm, thankfully...

    Urgent Access to Endocrinologist

Yes, but it is only when glucose is running high. If one does not overload on carbs, then glucose will not rise to the levels of thirst and symptoms will not show up. Because there is no need for kidneys to evacuate excess glucose from blood stream.

    Urgent Access to Endocrinologist

My GTT was too high. I am going to beg the endo to do antibodies, c-peptide and whatever is necessary. My doctor thinks I am fine but sends me to urgent appointment for an endo anyway. I have no idea how long "urgent" needs to be on wait. The doctor said that even if you are fasting, or eating...

    Urgent Access to Endocrinologist

I already did multiple times. The blood sugar is always normal, the tests show nothing and yet I feel terrible, my heart is pounding after 500m walk on even surface, my weight is declining. My body has random spasms all over where muscles move themselves. It is very present today, have not...

    Urgent Access to Endocrinologist

I wrote on this forum a few days back. My symptoms are getting worse and am losing more weight. When laying in bed I feel like my muscle mass in disappearing, muscles moving themselves. I feel bad after eating. I only eat protein and fats, removed almost all carbs. I called up a doctor I know...

    Failed GTT & Circumstances

I went to urologist today and he told me it is from dehydration that the small stone formed and I pushed it out with bleeding. I am drinking a lot more water now. How do people feel when they have high or low blood sugar? I did not mention shivering to him yet because it is occasional. He...

    Failed GTT & Circumstances

Because I felt exactly the same when after GTT and they measured excessive blood sugar value. God ****, I need to get a glucose meter and stop guessing what is happening to me. What about type 1 diabetes? Wouldn't even such a low carb meal would spike such person's blood sugar?

    Failed GTT & Circumstances

To add to my symptoms, I feel like **** right now after: eating 3 slices of mozarella, spicy chicken breast and 1 tomato. The head is heavy, some sweating and rapid heart beat, shivers. Almost zero carbs, but this meal had the following effect. I just cannot shake it off that I am unfortunately...

    Failed GTT & Circumstances

I told my doctor about me having no appetite and being dehydrated with almost zero carbs and he said it is all fine and that does not affect test results. Here is my concern. It seems that I am headed towards something wrong with glucose metabolism because: 1. I am feeling less energetic since...

I have a habit of calorie restriction and forget hydration when very worried and sick :\ Could someone comment on what the hell happened during GTT and what are the wise steps to take when I meet the doctor next time?

    Failed GTT & Circumstances

Sorry for the long wall of text guys but I need next steps. I am 24, thin and male. 6 days ago, I started feeling sweet taste in my mouth. This happened in the past before when not eating enough and my body started to run on ketones 1.5 years ago. 2-3 days before this, I barely ate food. And...

    Panicking - Urine Glucose

I was feeling unwell, sweet taste in my mouth for 6 days, This happened to me before 1.5 years ago while on antibiotics. I also was not eating enough and had ketones in my urine. This time, the symptoms were sudden: sweet taste, sudden headache, fatigue. I was panicking and went to a hospital...

Posted almost 2 years ago - symptoms

I am back to this forum because almost 2 years ago I posted with similar symptoms, although they coincided with use of antibiotics. I have sweet taste in my mouth again, along with headache, fatigue and so on. I went to a hospital on Sunday and had blood glucose level of 5.2 around 3-4 hours...
