Slightly off topic but just wanted to say what a great example of why CGM is so good!
Fortunately I don't get DP but I love seeing a nice steady graph through the night showing my basal level is right :-)
I normally wake up with a low sugar on the first morning of mine. I don't know why exactly but have always assumed it's the other hormones affecting the insulin in some way?? Would be interested to know more if anyone knows
Yes I have the same symptoms and am having a blood test tomorrow to test my vit D, vit B, Iron and thyroid hormone levels - we'll see which one 'wins'! My friend also had to take vit D supplements last year - seems it's getting more common.
We all do things like this from time to time, the important thing is knowing how to deal with these 'hiccups' and you dealt with it really well - well done.
I agree with the others - the diabetes is just an excuse. Any decent woman would've supported you and helped you overcome the swings, but she chose to run to someone else - never excusable.
