I'm planning to use opsite flexfit to hold mine in place which will also make it waterproof. Just need to find time to get to the post office to pick it up! Really disappointed about the lack of alarms too but hopefully there will be a solution soon - official or not :-)

I was prescribed Ramipril when I showed very early signs of kidney damage. I think they only prescribe them when they spot signs of damage though rather than just to everyone as a preventative measure

As others have said, the hormones in the different pills and implants can affect us all differently so don't be surprised if the first thing you try isn't right for you. Unfortunately for us we also have the extra consideration of the hormones potentially changing insulin requirements so...
