    Morning Figures -

My perfect bloodsugar where I feel 'normal' is actually 7 to 7.5. I can deal with around 6.5 too but if I go below that I can tell I'm creeping closer to hypo.

I've Been so Hesitant to Post This...

I understand this completely. I was diagnosed when I was 14 and I shunned my diabetes in face I refused to take my insulin and made myself very unwell. Fast forward to age 31 and I'm much much better and have learnt to cope and live with this disease.

Hi, new here type 1 for 14 years with needle phobia!

You need to face your phobia head on or you're going to die for lack of treatment. It's as blunt and smile as that. You can't go through life as a type one shunning insulin.

Does fresh fruit sugar increase blood sugar

Haha I'm not sure where you heard this rubbish but any type of sugar fruit or otherwise is bad for diabetics. Example of I have a hypo and have no gluco tabs around I'll have a few grapes and they pull me out of the hypo ASAP hence they are high in sugar and under normal circumstances would be...

Why is there not a mody thread anywhere [emoji24]

Clearly I don't know lots of others hence me trying to join a forum to meet others.... My point was in respect of your comments about being registered. Clearly this website doesn't think mody is important enough to be included.. So I'll have to look elsewhere.

When you say registered do you mean on this website? As I'd be inclined to disagree with you in respect of numbers. Whilst mody is rare there are 4 people just in my family that have it. Do you have mody as you seem to be very knowledgeable about a condition that affects so few... In your own words.

Why is there not a mody thread anywhere [emoji24]

I really wish there was. Whilst I agree with the guy below as I was misdiagnosed as a type 1 for years it's frustrating that's there's not much on here that I can find. The threads post ect I have found are old. And FYI the treatment is not the same as type 1 it bugs me when people lump it...

    Meeting

I just downloaded the app it was easier. It was because I am older than my sisters by 10 years so for a long time it was only me that had diabetes. A couple of years ago one sister was diagnosed so she had a genetic test which revealed mody. I then had one which revealed the same gene. My...

Don't look bad to me. 8/9 slightly high I'd correct at that point but generally pretty good!
