    Gestational Diabetes readings

There are some things I don't understand regarding your ranges and times of testing, and it may be different for GD than T2, but these figures look well within the normal non-diabetic range. Why is 1.5 hrs late though? The official measure time is usually two hours. Also, what do you mean about...

    Does diabetes affect the job?

As your experience shows, uncontrolled diabetes can have a bad effect on your job, but if you have good control, it should not affect your job. Well done on your good control

No GTT test - more numbers

Probably best to not overthink it: you've booked your test now, so see how that goes for an official diagnosis, and then take things from there. For what it's worth, your test results still don't look particularly high: you are eating high-carb food then testing after only one hour, but even...

No GTT test - more numbers

    Those numbers are fine.

Unexplained high blood sugars on a Keto diet

Those numbers look unrealistically high: I'm with Bulkbiker that this looks like it might be more of a testing aberration than anything else: what carbs have you been taking in?

    5.9 Blood Test

It looks well within the normal range, especially if you had some polos, so don't worry. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to cut back on the white bread if you can, but there isn't much to worry about from the figures you report here. Take care!

Six Months in UK, Life Is Good

Great post: you should probably follow-up on the medical tests, but apart from that, just keep enjoying your life. You've found a nice balance, so more power to you!

    Help!!

Just to follow on from my comment above, I know some of us aren't as big on LCHF as others, and I know we have insulin users and type 1s who follow different rules, but I would honestly defy anyone to say this is a *good* recipe for diabetics...

    Help!!

Also, my blood levels are usually pretty good, but they wouldn't be if I'd eaten that Irish stew and Colcannon recipe (76.4g of carbs per serving apparently). I wouldn't be surprised if your blood levels get much better once you stop taking in the hidden carbs. I do, however, think the Diabetes...

Trying to educate the In-Laws. Please help!

That's the best idea: I would expect a complicated list will raise hackles as 'fussy'. If they just think you want bacon and eggs when you come round, it will probably be accepted much more lightly

    Toilet troubles

Can you have green leafy veg? My meals tend to have some leafy veg or cauliflower/ broccoli; seems to work well.

    How will the humanrace survive....

Katsu curry toastie sounds pretty tasty TBH. No good for us, but let the non-diabetics enjoy it in moderation.

Not losing weight from vegan diet. tips?

I don't know much about T1, but there are A LOT of very high carb foods in your list, so I'm not surprised you wouldn't lose weight eating them. Might it be worth looking at Dr. Bernstein's dietary recommendations?

    Old Wedding Day Present Idea.

15 pounds was quite a lot of money back then, no? What sort of money would that be in today's terms?

What Do You Make If This Folks? Zero Carb Wine! Too Good To Be True?

Those wine carb numbers look very high, but I could be confused about fluid ounces vs ounces or suchlike. Those figures would make wine more carby than beer, no? I have read 4 grams per 5 ounce for red wine, with about 20 grams of carb in the whole bottle. Still, you may be right: it's worth...

What Do You Make If This Folks? Zero Carb Wine! Too Good To Be True?

This looks a bit like 'gluten-free gin' to me, or 'fat-free coca-cola'. A bit of marketing spin that relies on the public not knowing that wine is generally very low-carb to begin with.

Type 2 Carbs And The Doctor/dn

Brunneria has the right idea: simple, honest, non-confrontational. You can't go far wrong with that approach.

    Vaping

Like helenramsay says, you should do a test. I would, however, guess that the flavour of vapes won't translate into actual sugar content- like honey flavour is probably the same as, say, whisky flavour or plain tobacco.

Please Help I Beg You All

Cutting your carbs would probably be the best place to start. Most T2s can improve their levels a lot by reducing their carb intake. Can you give us some details on what you normally eat? That way we might be able to give some specific tips on what to cut out and replace.
