    Libre 2 signal loss

Anyone else having signal loss? All the time? Everything was running smoothly for me until yesterday when I had to change sensor. Since then I have ploughed through 3 sensors & none can hold a Bluetooth signal. The Abbott helpline have told me they do not know how to fix it & have escalated this...

    Smart watches

This is what I followed when I first set Shuggah up. I had an Apple watch back then. When I switched to a Garmin I didn't do anything. My BG reading was there in my calendar, on my Garmin, as before. It does work a bit better on an Apple watch, the trend arrow is also displayed. I prefer my...

Freestyle Libre 2 to become real time continuous glucose monitor in UK from mid July 2023

Sounds like you're having a spot of bad luck. It has worked all the time for me, so far at least.

Freestyle Libre 2 to become real time continuous glucose monitor in UK from mid July 2023

I have updated & Shuggah is working as before. No other settings changed. I am very happy to no longer have to scan & that is really all this is about. As far as incremental improvements go this is pretty big.

It isn't there. The update is only available from the Freestyle website

Freestyle Libre 2 to become real time continuous glucose monitor in UK from mid July 2023

I didn't change any other settings, except to update to the 'non-scan' LibreLink, & Shuggah is working as before.

Freestyle Libre 2 to become real time continuous glucose monitor in UK from mid July 2023

It seems the way to update is via the FS Libre website (on your phone). Update then delete & re-download the app. It does seem that all of my data has been lost though. Abbott ought to have avoided this. Anyone know how to retrieve the lost data?

Freestyle Libre 2 to become real time continuous glucose monitor in UK from mid July 2023

OK, have now updated. Shuggah is still working too. I'm sure some clever person will work out how to negate the need for a third party app sooner or later. For now, I am happy with this incremental gain.

Are you in the UK? No update showing in my app store yet.

Freestyle Libre 2 to become real time continuous glucose monitor in UK from mid July 2023

In case the news hasn't spread to this forum yet... From mid-July 2023, following a software update to Librelink, the Freestyle Libre 2 sensor will become a real time continuous glucose monitor giving minute-by-minute readings on a compatible smartphone. Apparently, the updated Librelink will...

    Smart watches

Hello, I use FSL2 with an iPhone & can read my current BG on my Apple Watch or Garmin using the Shuggah app. It was a bit fiddly to set up, via a calendar complication & widget but works well enough to give me a close enough idea of where I am without scanning with my phone. Great when at work...

Why won't my Freestyle Libre 2s stick properly?

Hello, it is most likely the hot weather. I have been using L2 for about 18 months & during colder weather they rarely come off. Over the last 3 weeks I have lost 4, mostly after exercising. Don't worry too much about it. Abbott will always replace. It is a bit of a pain but the sensors are...

    Healthier Sugar Snacks for Hypos

Interesting - compared to other sweets the ingredients are relatively less harmful. Hopefully others will follow suit. This could be the answer. Something that I can leave in my car or bag & won't melt. Luckily I don't get many hypos. Thanks

    Healthier Sugar Snacks for Hypos

Hi folks Has anyone found sugary sweets that do not contain palm oil, trans fats or other nasty additives? I would like to carry something for hypos when out & about that isn't too bad for me to eat. Standard glucose tablets are a bit sickening. Liquids not convenient, especially if flying...

    Apple Watch 8 series

Shuggah connects my S7 to L2. Takes a bit of playing around but gives me an actual number without scanning.

Wrong readings with freestyle libre 2

Hello, thanks for the answer but it is during the day. I was only able to spot the difference by comparing with finger prick tests. After a run of 3 "bad" sensors the 4th is working accurately.

    High sugar Covid-23

Yes, this is what happened with me. Don't know what your regime is Tim so I'll share mine & what I did in the hope it helps you. I take metformin, Lantus & NovoRapid. Before Covid I was taking Lantus 6 units at night, NovoRapid 7/0/7 & metformin 1g with meals. During Covid infection I ended up...

Wrong readings with freestyle libre 2

Currently experiencing L2 inaccuracy issue of up to 40% out cf finger prick, particularly at the lower end. I am being careful to do a finger prick test first & scan L2 10-15 minutes later to take the lag between CBG & ISF into account. The product specification for both L2 & finger prick meters...
