    Hi Daisy1, I have sent a PM to Energize, but my hair loss is all over the top of my head and I now use MANE Hair Thickening Spray (just google it). It costs £15 per 200ml can but does last for ages and completely camoflages hair loss and if you order 6 you get one free, best wishes, Deb xx

    Test strips

    Has anybody been able to overturn their GP's decision to stop giving out test strips when only on diet and exercise and not medications. I have challenged my HCP saying that I need to test to see how my body reacts to certain foods but to no avail, thanks, Deb x

    nighttime urination

    Hi Derekp, if you do have an enlarged prostate (prostatic hyperplasia) then as I'm sure you know this would cause nightime urination. My Husband was given some Tamsulosin Hydrochloride capsules, one to be taken daily and this has sorted out the problem of getting up many times in the night...

    T2 and snack before bed

    Hi, I find that I always have a glucose dump during the night with high morning levels but the morning level can be reduced by me having soemthing to eat before bed, usually a protein snack rather that carbs and a glass of red wine. This works for me, I am D/E only, Debra x

    Reading of 32

    Hi MRSMOUSEMAT, don't worry, according to the literature that I have the non diabetic range is 4.0% - 6.0%, which is now 20 mmol/mol - 42 mmol/mol. So your result of 32 mmol/mol would still be in the low 5%. I got the information from Diabetes UK, so have a look, regards, Debra x

    Well everyone I went to see my GP today and basically he said that it could be anything thats causing the hair loss because I am on so many medications, beta blocker, calcium channel-blocker, Levothyroxine. Anyway we agreed that I stop the Simvastatin, no statin at all as they all cause alopecia...
