6.8 this morning. I really figured I would be in the 5’s. Yesterday I started at 6.0 and by midday was at 3.9 then 5.4 before bed. I really dislike liver dumps.

Breakfast coffee with 35% cream. Lunch 2oz Genoa salami and 4 thin slices of old cheddar cheese. Dinner 1 tomato cut open and filled with taco meat, some avocado, sour cream and old cheddar cheese and topped with lettuce. Kale salad with poppyseed dressing and pumpkin seeds.

Up at 6:00 with a 6.0. Temp is -6°c and just got 6cm of snow. Must be the day of 6’s

6.9 this morning so a little better than yesterday. Went for fish n chips last evening. Tested 5.1 before and 5.9 two hours later. I can enjoy that treat occasionally I guess.

@Granny_grump_ after the 7.9 this morning my bg’s have been low to mid 5’s so far today. I’m starting to feel a bit better now. Things are starting to move (if you know what I mean).

Im 53 now. I was told by my mother that I snored from birth. Finally a couple years ago I demanded my Dr send me for a sleep study. I was diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea. In the overnight stay I had stopped breathing 94 times. I was prescribed a cpap machine and now no more snoring but...

She is signed up for driver training. We do however want her to get a little driving time in before she starts in February. We decided to bring her to a light industrial area in the evenings to practice. The area is quiet, little if any traffic and quite a few large parking areas to practice in.

7.9 this morning. Still a little under the weather. Temperature is a crisp-31°c (-41°c with the windchill) my vehicle surprisingly started.

@Granny_grump_ I saw my Dr yesterday for my blood work review. He checked my temp which was slightly elevated but wasn’t too concerned. He suggested a laxative so I’m trying that out. Aside from my elevated cholesterol, he seemed happy with my blood work and overall health.

@Granny_grump_ I’m still a little under the weather. I’ve been feeling bloated and have a sour stomach. 2 hours after my morning 6.2 I was down to 5.6. I have been quite thirsty the last few days in spite of drinking 96+oz water/day. Things will improve though, I have no doubts.

Thankfully the damage is minimal. The problem is the required parts aren’t available in Canada and have to be shipped from the U.S not major, just a broken fitting on the transmission cooler line. The mechanic will bypass the internal cooler while leaving the external cooler functional...
