    background insulin LEVIMIR 》》》 TRESBIA

I sing the praises of Tresiba!! When finding the initial dose, I am led to believe that change of dose should be every third day (barring something dramatic happens.) I genuinely do like it, with the caveat that I'm type 2. Edit: I went from Lantus 58u to Tresiba 54u + two increases to...

Are diabetics more susceptible to anemia, even if your diet is good?

No, they don't unless there's another concomitant disease. Your feelings expressed, and symptoms, don't really gel with that of anaemia. For instance, over this last New Year, I had a very big gastric bleed, the only thing in common is the light headedness. But that's just me.

Which snacks are people eating between meals?

Cocktail sausages. Ham slices or any meat slices really. Cheese slices. Philadelphia cheese. Edit… jelly is great - really cold ones, about 2C, much stiffer and more quenching.

    Anyone have Ileostomy stoma?

The one thing I remember the Stoma Sister saying was for ileostomy specifically, 'no onions' for some months, stoma+onions= anathema. I'm sure that's totally unhelpful! My very best wishes for a safe and easy surgical journey.
