    Have a virtual hug .... I too am newly diagnosed and understand where you are coming from .... My machine hooks up to my PC so I get some graphs, but I like your idea of having averages and even pie charts .... Perhaps just give yourself a bit more leeway - you are doing great x

    6.7 for me today - only myself to blame as I had a delish kebab last night .... won't be doing that again in a hurry as its sitting heavy. Nice day out today with lots of walking should help levels :)

    Eyesight

    I have a similar issue. I use glasses for driving, but since being diagnosed almost 2 weeks ago, my far distance eyesight has improved but my eyesight has deteriorated for close up work such as needlecraft. Hoping this will sort itself out as its due to meds/change of blood sugars.
