    Hi Anjana. I am not a medical professional either and don't know much about the pancreas either. But has anybody suggested Stem Cell therapy. Sorry but don't know much about that either. But Stem Cell therapy seems to be able to heal a lot things nowadays. Good luck and all the best.

    I was coun ting sheep last night.Started at 1am 1,2, 3,4, e t.c etc.etc.By 2 am I had lost count.(too many sheep maybe). My point there is because we are diabetic are we also deficient in Serotonin.(read that somewhere).Please don't ask me where, Forgotten.So maybe tonight I will start counting...

    Thank you all for your replies. I have really tried for the last 7 weeks (the low carb diet). The reading s of 10-11s have gradually come down to 8 and 9 and this week have had a lot of 6s and even 3 which were 5.7. Having the Hba1c next week.So hoping it will have come down a lot.
