I can't remember exactly, probably not completely. Stopping coffee will also stop sweeteners, sucralose in my case.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Today I had prawns in a home made Marie Rose sauce, with a side salad, and then later, a couple of small slices of sourdough toast with scrambled eggs.

I gave it up for a week, but maybe it'll take a bit longer. I do drink a lot of coffee. Maybe I'll just have a couple of coffees in the morning. Thanks.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Lunch today was a couple of high protein rolls with tinned red salmon. And for tea I had a chicken jalfrezi with cauliflower rice fried in butter with diced onions and garlic.

Yes, I take ramipril and amlodopine. But I've been taking them for years.

    Overactive Bladder

I very much doubt I have a water infection.

    Overactive Bladder

Thanks. I was thinking about asking for a referral to a urologist. I'd rather not go down the medication route if possible.

    Overactive Bladder

Over the last couple of years I've developed an overactive bladder. I don't think it's related to diabetes as my HBA1c has been in the thirties for the last eighteen months or so. It seems to have a got a bit worse lately. I've been to the GP, had a prostate examination and a PSA blood test...

Glitchy forum using multiple browsers of late…?

Same here. I've had that "Oops!" message intermittently every day over the last few days.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

It was a shame, @DJC3. I saw a recipe for a carrot cake using wholemeal flour and sweetener - I love carrot cake. I might try that.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Well, my coffee and walnut cake sadly didn't work. There wasn't enough sweetener, or enough coffee, and it was too dense. And it just tasted odd. The instructions in the recipe weren't great. Were they flat or heaped tablespoons of sweetener? The ingredients listed baking powder, but it wasn't...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Some strawberries and Greek-style yoghurt for a late(ish) breakfast, plus a couple of freshly-baked high protein rolls (17g carbs each) with Jalapeno tuna for a late lunch. I'm currently waiting for the butter to soften before I make my coffee cake, and I'll let you know what it's like. Wish me...

Pretty much reversed last week's loss - up 1.1 lbs. Not to worry, that's how it goes sometimes.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Thanks. I found this one: https://www.splenda.co.uk/recipes/coffee-and-walnut-cake/ It seems quite simple, using sweetener and almond flour. I might add some vanilla extract too.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Looks lovely. I used to make a high carb one a few years ago. Do you have a link to the recipe?

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

For lunch today I had a single (large-ish) slice of sourdough with ham and mustard, followed by some Greek style yoghurt. And for tea I had bacon, scrambled eggs and garden peas.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I took a couple of ham sourdough sandwiches into work for lunch today. But we had a meeting and there were chocolate digestives there. I had three, and I'd forgotten how sweet they were. Too sweet, in fact. For dinner I had some haddock with mushy peas.

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Today I went out for lunch to the family's. We had a roast leg of lamb, mashed stew, cauliflower, peas, carrots, tenderstem broccoli and roast potatoes. No pictures, but it was very nice.

Down 1.4 lbs last week. In a few weeks I should be leaving the thirteens behind.
