    Remission - for how long?

    I am into my 9th month after the diagnosis. Just tested my post meal - 5.4 mmol/l I am just curious... how long can I live without complications? If I am really lucky to go into remission, how long will it last? Anyone here has gone into remission for more than 30 years?
