    Quite often late onset type 1 gets diagnosed as type 2 when I was diagnosed the gp said it'll be type 2.however I was tested for antibodies (I have other autoimmune conditions) and it came back v clearly type 1.     Just spent a fortnight in the sun and the sea and it stayed attached throughout after initially applying skintac before applying sensor. I'm accident prone but have found skintac stops me knocking it off on doorways etc! Frances

    ON the graph it should be showing your readings and lines joining them up showing the ups and downs. When you scan you should initially get a pop up with the number plus arrows showing whether your bg is going up/down etch which you don't get with the meter.

    SNAP - met another Libre user in the wild!

    I was out for a walk with OH and a lady walking her dog came rushing across the road towards us. I assumed she knew OH as he's lived here forever but instead she wanted to talk libre with me cos her grand daughter has one. Lovely chat. First time I'd met another user at all.

    Is Libre a Good Idea?

    If you use the phone app it all uploads into LibreView so you've all the graphs you need and if you turn the sound down on the phone the bleep is not noticeable. I love my libre and only use my meter if I'm low as I find the libre slow to react to the climb back to 'normal'
