    Mysugr - quick question

I think they're activity indicators - does your phone track your steps and such, or do you have an Apple watch? Those sorts of things will automatically add it to the app as far as I'm aware. :)

Evening all, hope all is well! I've had a good day blood sugar wise today, it has consistently been between 5.5 and 6.6 which are the best readings I've had since I started measuring around a week ago! B: Decaf coffee with cream L: One low carb bagel with turkey, emmental and spinach D: 2 x...

    Pre diabetes carbs

There's a really helpful list of low carb foods in the Low Carb Diet section of the forum here - https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/a-few-asking-for-low-carb-food-lists.96321/ This doesn't list carb values, but it will give you an idea of the kind of foods you should be aiming for! :) I...

What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I did a 24 hour fast today so didn't eat until dinner, which was sausage patties, bacon, eggs, emmental cheese, green beans, lettuce and cucumber. I had a PhD Smart brownie bar I found in Tesco but upon further research it seems the Maltitol in it may give me a spike later - currently waiting...

Thanks for your response! I only really had the Weetabix today to see what kind of response I got, so I definitely won't be having that again!

    Blood sugar swings?

Hi all. When I tested my sugars this morning after waking up, I was pleased to see 5.8 which is the lowest I've had for a week or so. I'm still in the stages of testing out what foods I can and cannot have, so I had my regular breakfast of Weetabix with semi skimmed milk and as expected, two...

Thank you all for your extremely kind and helpful responses. While I wait for my doctor's appointment I will lower my carbs and continue to take readings and then go forward from what the doctor says. I'm very grateful for all your responses, they have eased my mind a little. :)

Waiting on diagnosis - feeling scared

Hi Spoon, I drink water with a drop of no added sugar squash during the day. Sometimes I have coffee but this is usually black and I didn't have one yesterday.

Waiting on diagnosis - feeling scared

Hi all, newbie here. I have recently been having hyperglycemic symptoms and so bought a blood sugar monitor - the GlucoRx Nexus - to test my sugars, as I am overweight and my father has Type 2 diabetes, so I wanted to rule it out. I was shocked to find that at 2pm today, before I had eaten any...
