What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Just goes to show how differently our bodies react to certain foods... I have no negative impact from peanuts... then there are lots of people here who don't get any spike from cauliflower but my BG spikes every single time I eat it... good thing I like the former and not the latter. :)

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.9 at 6AM which is always a nice number to see in the morning after eating day. Funny enough i actually felt very hungry after my late night walk at about 21:30ish which has not happened on a eating day before and my reading at that time had dipped down to 4.7... so I ate some green olives...

If i were to bet, my money would be on DP... somehow 9AM without fail shows higher for me and it stays that way till 12 PM and then the downward trend begins... another thing I have noticed is its slightly elevated after shower definitely on libre and mostly on finger prick too...but that comes...

Anyone using a separate phone for their Libre?

If its Android 9 on your phone it should work so long as phone has NFC on it.To check if your phone has NFC capabilities, just do the following: Go to Settings -> Wireless and Networks -> More... Here, you will see an option for NFC, if your phone supports it. If the option isn’t there, your...

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.7 at 6 AM. Had to break my fast at 24 hours mark last night as I felt the need to take a paracetamol again. I am feeling better now and while the trend is a bit on higher side occasionally touching 8s and staying in 7s and late 6s for most part of last 24 hours it will be hopefully coming...

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.4 at 6AM after eating day... Guess body is still recuperating from the mayhem of last week because yesterday for a while it went all the way to 9.2 around 11.30 which has rarely happened in last few months and given all i had eaten was 4 eggs that too after a 4 mile walk. Ah well, it's...

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I agree ... it does not and I can say that based on my longer fasting periods... I mean at any given time on my non-eating day any reading I take is a fasting reading and yet I see significant variation from 6 AM to 12PM and then downwards from that point till night and fairly good overnight...

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Based on what I have read about reason behind DP, if one is interested in analysing the impact of DP it will actually be a waking test. When we are about to wake up brain sends signal to Liver to giddy up and prepare energy rush hence the dawn phenomena... atleast that's what I understood.

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.9 at 6AM. The unwanted guests have started packing so hopefully I will have clear nose, minimal cough and normal temperature by weekend. On the flip side i did not take Lemsip or any other medicine last night and so average BG overnight appears to be 7.5.... can't help it though... taking...

What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

So it was stress afterall... and funny thing is there is no telling what can stress an individual... the other day I realised I was stressed simply because Music (our dog) was whimpering in his dream... my BG shot from 5.6 to 8.0 in space of 10 minutes and then after I gave him a cuddle and...

I can't say for others but I can say how I felt when I was new to this forum .... this is perhaps the only thread I post regularly ti... What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

I think it probably is... stress is the biggest culprit when it comes to examining my trends - I can literally place the timeline coinciding with various meeting during the course of the day. The more painful a particular customer is, the higher my numbers tend to be,
