5.4 at 6AM after eating day... although I can see it isn't going to be great for my numbers or me today... I could see cough, cold and fever coming and this morning all the unwanted guests have well and truly arrived...
Don't be discouraged by this though.. think of it like this, if you have not provided body the raw material to create glucose where is it creating it from? Obvious answer is from reserves so it gets worse before it gets better as dp combined with longer fasting can initially bring BG up but...
4 at 6AM... 84 hours fasting gets me here... today will be eating day so we shall see what awaits me tomorrow morning.
Sorry to hear that.. chicken with 1/4 tsp turmeric can be helpful.
Actually that is a good point... say body was struggling with cold, then based on what I read about release...
I don't get any spike after coffee of any kind... caffeine, decaf, black, white, cream whatever... I don't add any sweetener or anything though.
Also mostly I have nespresso but have also had Kenko and nescafe...
4.2 at 6 AM at par with 60 hours into fasting. :)
That's impressive. I have walked about the same but not because of diabetes challenge but because of the lovely thing you see in my DP. He absolutely loves his walkies and on an average makes me walk 6 to 7 miles every day... come rain or shine...

Thanks. Yes I have worked out a routine so atleast once each month I carry out a 4 to 5 days fast... as a matter of fact am on day one of a longish fast now... aiming for 84 hours on this one. :)
It's been a while friends but happy to report my low carb, ADF and walking regime is still intact keeping the BG in respectable zone. Recent HbA1c was 38 and BG this morning was 5.2.
That is very likely as inflammation of any kind tends to increase BG from what I have read and experienced. But much like anything else with our bodies, pains and aches are indicators of an underlying issue rather than the issue itself. These are like the error codes on a software but sadly they...
7.1 at 6AM.
Overnight average is quite high though at 8.4. I have not eaten any high carbs as such but there is a dull feeling of backache still lingering so maybe low stock of Mg is the culprit. We shall see.
Have a great day all. :)
Guys i just searched the correlation between Mg and BG levels and to my surprise my data was pointing me correctly....
