well the neuropathy ain't moving (pregablin, tramadol and paracetemol) I've lost more weight through it being to sore to eat (have to put on 3 stone) now the hot topic is a wheelchair to give my legs a break :shock: sill haven't seen the pain team :shock: my gp passes the buck to the clinic...

Well today is 23 days :shock: since my dsn was to get my db doc to call me and arrange treatment of my neuropathic agony. So managed to get a hold of her 3 days ago and she was none to impressed and told me it would be sorted by at the latest 2pm today guess what NOTHING. I haven't been able to...

I understand where your coming from I've been unable to get back to my work. Keep up the voluntary work and do something with your photography. Then see how you feel about things and contact unicef or oxfam and get details of what is required I think this is a very noble gesture well done

just to put a downer on all these lucky peeps. Diagnosed type 1 last September and have had severe neuropathy since being discharged from hospital(collapsed with dka). I can barely walk am in constant pain get a couple of hours sleep if lucky and have been taking various drugs which don't work...

Everything is being done directly through the diabetic clinic as my diabetes care has been handed over to my db doc and dsn. but still fighting and falling cheers for the reply :D

the pain is worse the ds doc never called back :shock: to arrange scans and pain team. Fell with the snow my legs are much weaker. But it could be worse :) cheers for asking
