After I was put on Dapagliflozin ..my HbA1c dropped from 108mmol/mol to 78mmol/mol over 13 weeks ..but climbed back to 89mmol/mol ten weeks later ..my one bit of advice would be to plan ✻toilet stops✻ when out and about.

Some six years ago I was put on Statins ..prior to that I had read accounts about the aches they caused ..I nevertheless took the plunge ..and time has proved that they are ✻safe✻ for me ..my cholesterol level continues to be 'healthy' too.

Going slightly off-topic ..Metformin makes me ✻windy✻ ..so I'm prescribed Peppermint Oil capsules ..(the packaging reads 'IBS Relief') ..it might be an idea to discuss the matter with your pharmacist for proper medical advice.

I've reached the conclusion that the HbA1c test ..is a ✻diagnostic tool✻ used by the medical profession ..it is a 'function of a function' if you will ..for that reason, I don't read too much into it.
For my two-penneth, I'd say, do a ✻patch test✻ ..before thinking about slapping on lots of emollient ..itching, an angry rash, and diabetes ..is not nice.
