How long have you been LCHF?

About 18 months for me. So far so good.

Type 2 I am still in denial after 8 years

I've been on it for 18 months now. I have days where I know I eat things I shouldn't. My guess is very few (if any) never slip up. The way I look at it is if I have a bad meal.....or a bad day.....I just make it a point to get back on track the next day and try not to worry about it.

    How did your neuropathy start?

I'm curious about this too. Does it start with just one toe, or would it be symmetrical? Right now, I am experiencing a similar feeling in one thumb, only on the thumbprint side. Weird.

    peripheral neuropathy affecting motor function.

I have had the muscle twitching for almost 5 years now. Only been diabetic for a year and a half, so don't know if they are related. I got checked out by a neurologist, and was told all was fine. Stress and anxiety. I hate the twitching. Wish I could find something to stop it.

    "You're no longer a diabetic" a DN 2020

Well done! You'll get a lot of differing opinions on reversal, remission, controlled, etc. The important thing is your numbers are in the normal range. My doctor says I no longer have diabetes, but will likely always have "diabetic tendencies", so I need to stay the course.

Symptoms due to going from high sugars to much lower sugars quickly

I had no real symptoms that I noticed at diagnosis. Dropped into the normal range rapidly with LCHF diet. Had blurry vision the first week or so, but that cleared up. About 6 weeks in, I started having trouble with my feet. They would get a burning type pain, especially after walking a lot...

Warning signs of diabetic neuropathy in my feet?

Somewhat similar experience here, except at diagnosis I didn't notice any symptoms. I quickly lowered my A1C to prediabetic and then non diabetic levels. About 6 weeks in, I noticed a burning feeling in both feet. Got worse when walking a lot. Instead of numbness, it was like my feet were...

    Foot care

For me, I had no problems with my feet that I noticed at diagnosis. I was able to quickly lower my blood sugar levels back in to the normal range. About 6 weeks in, my feet became almost like too sensitive. I'm well over a year in, and they still bother me at times. I feel everything. Even...

    Am I actually diabetic

You definitely have diabetic tendencies, but it may be that you can tolerate more carbs now since you gave your system a break by laying off of the sugary drinks. I know for me, I used to drink 3 or 4 cokes a day, and ate very high carb. After diagnosis, I cut out the cokes and cut way back on...
