Hi all, woke this morning feeling very confused and with the shakes and a cold sweat! Bloods was 8.7mmol/L first time like this! Is it a hypo/hyper or just feeling ****?

Hello, well I think it’s each to there own! Yep it can be controlled and you can lead a normal’ish life but for some it can cause just as much heart ache as some of the more debilitating diseases....................
Yep it’s killed mine after 18 years! Only found out I’m T2D back in January 2017 doc put me on metformin which gave me all the side affects including mood swings! The ex only said3weeks ago she can’t do it anymore! Thanks glad that the docs changed my meds but the damage has been done...
Veg yuck! Just retested and now 12.7mmol/L had only very diluted orange barley water got mental headache and now going to bed! Thank guys and girls chat tomorrow hopefully with better BG.

It seems as if I’m allergic to metformin as had normal,slow release,and extra slow as well so have been taken off of it and put on a different tablet called sitagliptin

Nope no nurse [emoji68]⚕️, just doctor in clinic going back to see him 19 Dec to see if these new meds are working! Also go a contour next one neater coming as my GlucoMen areo is playing up keeps giving errors.............
