    Do you count carbs religiously or just use a rough guide?

    I just wondered out of curiosity whether you count your daily carbs religiously or whether you took the stand of just cutting out the 'biggies' (bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, fruit and sugars) and just ate without couting the precise carbs? I have been dieting on and off for about 12 years now...

    I have been readin a lot on how to work out my carbs and have read a lot saying that the total fibre grams should be deducted from the total carb grams to get the correct figure, is this right?? Thanks guys!
