    Work Sandwich Box

The reason I test 4 times a day is because that is what the consultant told me to do after I had a heart attack. He said it was to give my doctor an idea what was going on with my blood sugar. (I was not diabetic before the attack) As I said back to work on Monday and I'm trying to get a work...

It does help a bit thank you. The 4 times I have to test is :- Before Breakfast Before Midday Meal Before Evening Meal Before Bed Saturday was my first day and since then my levels have been between 4.9 and 13.4 That 13.4 was a banana I had for pudding so that won't happen again. I noticed also...

    Blood Sugar Readings

I've been told to take my blood sugar reading four times day. On my diary it's been written that the levels should be between 5 and 7 Atm my levels are up and down depending what I'm doing. Would it be right in assuming that the average accross the day would be a good way of going?

If manderines are a bit much I'll have to find something else fruit wise. I tried a banana the other and me blood sugar went ape. Perhaps a banana would'nt spike me whilst I'm at work, but then again I could aply that to me manderines as well

Now that is a good idea. Instead of ham thins with all the bits that go with them. Cooked chicken breast. I've had a looksee and chicken breast has no carbs in at all. Revised sandwich box:- Two chicken breasts One baby bell One manderine pieces pot Two muffins 1 ltr no sugar diluted orange...

Now that has completly messed me up. Sorry if I'm going on but this is what I have on my plate. Last Tuesday I had a heart attack and the consultant told me :- 1) the attack caused my blood sugar to go up to an extent that I am type 2 diabetic. That I will need to keep my blood sugar down to...
