Lantus can be taken at any time of the day. My sister takes hers at 9pm, my cousin takes his at 6am and I am the odd one in the family that splits mine between 8am and 6pm. Different things work for different people.

I have had several piercings, ears, eyebrows, lip twice, nipple, navel, tongue, nose and they have all been fine. As long as you follow instructions from whoever does the piercing, make sure the place is up to standard before you get the piercing done and keep it clean.
