    Running and low carb diet

    Agree with SJB and ElyD. You can run LC by reducing insulin but over moderate distances you will be faster with carbs. Carbs are unnecessary for short distances as your liver stores will see you through. For really long events nothing beats induced fat metabolism. t1diabetesafter55.blogspot.com.au

The scientific answer is to look at the insulin and diet regimens of T1s who have been doing this sort of thing successfully for decades, then modify that according to your own personal circumstances.     steroids n stuff and ducks in puddles

    I am also T1 on HC and Prednislolone for Addisons. You can see my story in much more detail at t1diabetesafter55.blogspot.com.au Agree with carbsRok comments. Also consider splitting your steroid dose.
