    Tickleflex

Hey thanks for your thoughts. I’m using 4mm needles, sometimes it’s great and I don’t feel a thing, other times I find the Lantus really burns & it’s quite a high does I think at 28 units. Maybe I am over thinking it but after 4 kids I’ve got a lot of stretch marks to dodge on my stomach...

    Tickleflex

I was just wondering how people were getting on with the TickleFlex? After 2 weeks of injecting I’m finding it is becoming a really stressful experience. I went looking on YouTube to make sure I’m doing it correctly and came across this device. What’s your experience? @Libby3781 and @Trinakt

    Collecting prescriptions

Yeh I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago. My household has been very careful due to someone else being in the shielding group, essential trips out only. But now that I think about it, the pharmacy is about as essential as the trips to hospital for diagnosis. So I should stop over thinking it.

Thanks @Fairygodmother I’d best make hypos a conversation for this afternoon. I’ll check out the MiaoMiao & books too. It’s reassuring to know that I’m doing the right thing keeping track of carbs & checking the libra before & 2hrs after food.

    A week in to diagnosis

Thank you for the warm welcome and advice, it is much appreciated. It is reassuring to hear that complications can be reduced/ reversed as that isn’t really dealt with in the literature. But it is something that I can take as it comes and not be too focused on right now. Thanks for the...

    A week in to diagnosis

Hi so I was diagnosed a with Type 1 (probably) a week ago, still waiting on antibody results but type 1 seems likely. I went from a phone call from my practice nurse at midday to home from the hospital with an insulin regime by tea time, I'm thankful for the quick set up and consistent follow up...
