If I wake up and my bloods are 10, then an hour later are 11, I have most likely forgotten my basal haven't I? Not eaten anything to warrant that at all but panicking as I am six weeks preggo and bloods have been absolutely perfect so far. Am T1. Thanks xx

You are totally right and I absolutely agree. The difficulty is that high BG is so dangerous in pregnancy and that's my problem as I generally approach it the same way you do but can't now

This is pretty much exactly what I say everyday! I was told fast and slow acting too but also wish I could be more precise about treatment as I am about insulin doses.

So disciplined. I only wait about ten minutes and pretty much scoff the whole bag in a blind panic. You have amazing self control!

Hello When treating a hypo, does your body get crazy about eating jelly babies/drinking apple juice etc? I suppose it is a biological urge as it's obviously an emergency situation but am planning for pregnancy so find it difficult dealing with subsequent highs.how do people limit hypo treatment...
