Hypo from Hell and no idea why

I had the exact same thing happen to me. It was horrible, blood was 2.3 before bed, I drank half a bottle of lucozade and 1 hour later was 3.2. Drank the rest of the bottle and came up to around 4. I thought it was shoot my sugars up! I didn't have any IOB so was very confused as to what was...

    High Glucose Drinks

Was just wondering, I was a bit naughty last night and had a whole can of rockstar, the whole can itself was about 69g of carb. I forgot to bolas for it, but my blood sugars were normal in the morning. Is this normal for sugars to rise quickly and drop down after a sugary drink? Thanks :)

    Developed a phobia

No. It's hard to explain , one night I had a hypo, treated it as normal, and felt no better 20 mins later.. It hadnt come up at all so I continued to finish the bottle of lucozade.. And it bought my bloods up to around 8. I thought lucozade was supposed to shoot blood levels up. I had not taken...

    Developed a phobia

About 3 months ago I was put on the omnipod, to sort out my high blood sugars and it worked. Hba1c came down from 14 to 7!!! It wasn't until I experienced a horrible hypo right before bedtime that wouldn't come back up for an hour (still don't know why it happened) and I had a few more that...

Fed up now, need some advice...

Hi Jess, thanks for your advice :) my basil is correct atm as me and my doctor have sorted it after much testing lol, it's just the diet in general that's a problem for me. Fed up now, need some advice...

I I understand what your saying completely, yes I do count carbs, but struggle to keep the amount I eat in a day low enough. It's also about calories though, as weight gain happens when you eat more calories than your body needs, and with controlled blood sugars, all these calories are...

Fed up now, need some advice...

Does anyone have any advice, just on diabetes in general.. (Type 1) I've been diabetic since I was 11, I'm 18 this august. At the start I had really good control, but as I've gotten older it's getting worse. I seem to have no motivation, even though at the back of my mind I think about the...
