Well, they told to me tick that box as im a type 1 diabetic. They keep the prescription, I phone up to order then it gets sent to my GP for him to authorise it.

Hello. I had an indian last night which ile admit is a bit crazy and im aware my sugar levels will be high. They were 15 and I gave my self a correction dose of 8 and it was 14.8 this morning, liver dump? However today it was 14.8 this morning I gave myself 16units for 2 crackers with butter...

Well im type 1 and it is very common for the child to have it too.

There is history of t2 in my family,however I was diagnosed with t1. I have 6 month old daughter and im trying to get myself prepared (emotionally) for when she is diagnosed :(

Well done with getting back on train :) My HbA1c was 7.9 last time. Ive already posted this but the reason for it being 7.9 was I had a lot trouble with morning highs. Sometimes as much as 12/13. Now there never over a 10 which is a lot better.

When I got diagnosed I had key tones of 4.2 or something like this (I have to go in if its over 4) . They slowly come down and I was let out of hospital because my sugar levels were ok but they said keep an eye on your key tones. As soon as I got home I had a nice full meal (not hospital muck)...
